Forest Newmarket-on-Fergus


This is my impression of an ancient forest in Newmarket-on-Fergus, Ireland using Faber-Castell Albert-Durer pencils. The biggest difficulty I had with this picture was trying to show the endlessness of the forest.

This is beautiful. I think you've captured that endlessness with the contrast of red and green, and the swirling pencil marks. The result is vibrant and energetic.

I really like this one. Whilst every forest is different it reminds me of so many other endless forests that I've seen.
