County Kerry Pass

Pass in County Kerry in Ireland in oil pastels. And yes, not "ripped-off" someone else's photo this time :). he he. Unfortunately, the camera doesn't show up the texture as in the real thing, which I'm quite excited about because I'm working out how to use the pastels better in that way. Well maybe it does, but being a techno-phobe I haven't bothered to read the instructions and as usual am using the camera at its basic level!

Something about this reminds me of the German Expressionists - such vivid colour.

Yes, I think I really like using bright colours because I work day to day in a business world where everything is black, blue and grey, so colour is an exciting thing for me! Thanks for your comment - I've now researched German expressionism and how it differs from impressionism so am no longer in the dark :)

I love the movement created by the strokes and colour, although I think the picture would definitely be better if you had ripped off one of my photos again!
